Something I want to do in the coming year is have more “off-the-cuff” writing. Part of the problem is that I’ve been trained for years to make sure that my writing adheres to a certain standard, and because of that I tend to over-think things.
I’m not writing a novel, or an essay, or even a magazine article. I’m writing a blog post. My writing will appear on platforms that have been hammering away at the constraints of modern English grammar for years.
