April 27th: What is your favourite form of media? For example, do you enjoy books? What format do you prefer for books (physical, e-book, audiobook)? Did you love reading as a kid but find it challenging as you got older? How about movies, tv, or video games? Do you have a favourite series?
I loved books when I was a kid. I really dug science fiction and fantasy, and so really focused on those genres for movies and TV shows. But I would have to say that my absolute favorite form of media is video games. I’ve been playing video games for over forty years, and I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of them.
I particularly like open ended open world games, but also puzzle and adventure games. My hand-eye coordination isn’t great, so I’m not that big of a fan of twitch-based games, but I’ll still give them a whirl. But the way I mostly look to beat boredom or escape games is through video games.
