What were your parents doing at your age?
Gettin’ divorced. Apparently their marriage ran into trouble sometime after my brother and I were born. My father disappeared into his job, leaving early in the morning and coming home late at night, which apparently facilitated years of affairs. My mother focused on us, her house, and her friends. After my younger brother left for college, my Dad left my Mom, which was the first we learned that they’d been having trouble.
