Diablo IV got its hooks in me again. The Loot Reborn season is fun, and a really good overhaul of the game’s gearing system. I’m still trying to figure all of it out, but my current seasonal character is now my highest leveled character so far at 92.

Right now, a huge part of the fun is simply running around in Helltide. The game just keeps getting harder and harder until finally you drop, but the craziness is really the first time I’ve felt the game approached the feeling of the rifts in D3. So much happening at once, compounded with other players running around. It’s sheer glorious video game mayhem.

But once again the end game has me baffled. I’ve never made it this far before, and I really don’t know what I’m supposed to be doing. I finished the seasonal battle pass and the seasonal campaign bits, but right now I don’t even understand what I’m supposed to do to complete the next seasonal chapter. I mean, I can read the objective, but it makes no sense to me.

So really what I’m doing now is grinding it out to 100. And then I’ll see what happens. I’m purposefully not looking at builds, and I’ve been pretty successful in building something that works for me, which I think is a testament to how well the new loot system works.

But even if I’m not sure what I’m doing, I am having a blast doing it.
