Meaning of Life
“The real meaning of life is not possible to embrace, if you are looking for the universal meaning of life. And at the same time it is so simple that it can be explained to fools and to infants when what to know is what you should do as an individual.”
On one hand, I feel like he’s touching the Tao here, in that it can’t be known (embraced), but I think he loses me a little bit in the second part. I think what he’s saying is that we want the egoless state of the fool or the infant to direct our actions.
If the ego, the left brain voice, was devised to replace the voice of God, the right brain voice that fell silent, who do we hear if we silence the ego?
If we silence the ego, will the voice of God speak to us?
