I Knew That

I’ve been thinking about a weird feeling I experienced while growing up, and I wonder if anyone else in the community experienced it; feeling like you’re remembering something you’ve already known when you’re learning something new. Like, oh yeah, that makes so much sense I feel like I always knew it, maybe that’s it, that’s a weird trick for a mind to play, but maybe it’s confusing that confidence in the knowledge with the confidence of experience and feeling like since we’re so confident about it we have to have already known it even though we just learned it for the first time

Except it felt like we’d always known it, like I don’t know when I learned that but yeah that sounds familiar
