Disney+ Version of Star Wars: A New Hope Alters Greedo Scene Yet Again

Those of us who were there in the beginning know the truth — not only did Han shoot first, but poor Greedo never got a shot off. And this was important. It established Han as sneaky and underhanded, a scoundrel who would abandon his new found friends as they ran off to destroy the Death Star. Shooting Greedo under the table made his saving Luke at the end even more meaningful.
