This part of the road is very familiar. We’ve been down it many times before. Roxy hasn’t, though, except in a box. We took a break from ruminating to climb the tower and look out over the valley.

Stopped for gas and other refueling. It’s fun to use gas station names as waypoints in Apple Maps. Siri makes a definite pause after “Kum”—or maybe I’m just used to people pronouncing it as one word.
